We have been working on something unique during the pandemic and wanted to introduce our customer base to Local Shops | www.localshops.com
Finally you can find, discover and buy anything locally!
Over the pandemic we saw the divide between small businesses and retail giants grow even further. Many small businesses simply do not have the resources or know-how to compete with large corporations for visibility online, and this was amplified with the surge in e-commerce spending.
Much of the consumer spending is leaving local economies and in majority of cases going right to Amazon. amazon charges 18% of every sale, plus a subscription and it is not a good environment for small business to thrive. Google is much the same way, except small businesses are pushed out search by greater marketing spend and SEO by the large corporations. All of these platforms are meant to reward those who spend the most, and we are here to change that with Local Shops!
Local Shops is free for small businesses and allows consumers to easily find, discover and buy from businesses in their area, province or country. All the same stuff you would find on Amazon, you can find locally and we are here to make it easy.
