You always hear that nightmare ski story - a chairlift breakdown and having to evacuate off! That could never happen. Well, that happened to our Founder, Ryan Corry, on Sunday at Sunshine Village Mountain Resort in Banff, Canada. Just after lunch time, Corry and a group of five boarded two chairs on Goats Eye Mountain. Shortly after boarding there was a complete mechanical breakdown of the chair. Skiers and riders alike had to withstand frigid temperatures for 2-3 hours before being repelled down from the chairs.
"The ski patrol and staff did an excellent job on hill, communicating and getting everyone down safely. I will be back on the slopes this week" - Ryan Corry
