Over the last few months we followed one of our favourite UNI customers to Mount Everest! Ciera Knight, from Jasper, Alberta, Canada, headed to Nepal on April 5 to begin preparations for the climb of her life! We were stoked to learn Ciera would be rocking our Retro Onesie under her summit suit and to stay warm at night.
Ciera trained for Everest in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, snowshoeing, hiking and climbing. She loved our Burgundy Onesie while training and packed our Retro Onesie for her epic trip! Next week we will recap her experience and summit attempt, so stay tuned.
UNI chillwear had a lot of fun last week on CTV Morning Live with Courtney Ketchen and the production team. This was our world premier for our new UNICHILL winter designs with our innovative butt zipper. You can watch the segment through this link Fashion Show.
Our new designs drop this Saturday, November 25. So make sure you check back to the website and be the first to order before sizes sell out. Our new designs come in Army Green, Aztec Print, Stealth Black with Fur Hood, Ski Bum Retro Print, and Canadian Plaid. Some of the new styles are shown here along with our favourites from last year!
As a Canadian company, we know how important it is to our customers to make our T-Shirts and Sweaters here. We were excited to be recognized by BuyingCanadian.ca for our unique brand and commitment to Canadian manufacturing.
Shambhala 2017 was a party to say the least. If you haven't been to this festival, its time to go! We spoke to the Grassroots guys who have toured to pretty much every festival in North America - they say Shambhala is the best vibe with the kindest people! Everyone is at the festival to have a good time with friends, meet new people and to share special moments. The event attendees are so responsible that its hard to notice any litre or disrespect to the land. We cannot wait to go back next year, so if you are going, make sure to stop by the UNI tent to chill and party!
Big thanks to our good friend and touring photographer BEEDEE for the epic shots. When he isn't on the road shooting some of North America's biggest DJ's, you can catch Beedee chillin' in our Nordic Blue onesie!

UNI chillwear – Premium Onesies
Founded by two former pro hockey players, Ryan Corry and Jeff Sapieha, UNI chillwear offers premium onesies to keep Calgarians snug and comfortable through the holidays.
Corry got the idea when he was playing hockey in France, and noticed his roommate wearing them. Unable to find a high quality onesie when he got back home, Corry decided to create his own.
“It’s like wearing your bed around the house,” Corry said. “They’re unbelievably comfortable because it’s made of high quality sweat suit material, with a brushed fleece interior. It’s different from a housecoat or Snuggie - you are always covered up, warm, and don't have material hanging everywhere.”

Clothing is a statement. It’s an expression of who you are, your personality, and what you’re into.Everyone has a unique style that gives off a little piece of who they are. Whether you are into baggy shirts and backwards hats or you’re like Victoria Beckham and “can’t think in flats.”
Of course, Calgary isn’t quite as fashion-oriented as New York, London, Paris, or Milan, but we can sure kick it with the best of them when it comes to our local clothing brands and shops. Calgary has a wide selection of locally-owned apparel lines and shops that are definitely worth the visit and guaranteed to have you killing the fashion game, no matter your style.
Here in Calgary, we strive to “Do Well, Live Well & Dress Really Well.” And I can tell you, these local brands and shops can help you do exactly that and then some.
